Community

~By Shari

“Boardroom” strides, jacket lining flashing like a peacock's tail.

“Shop girl” slinks, heels clicking, huge sunglasses hiding what she really thinks of herself.

“Homeless” slumps, ashamed yet holding out his newspaper – ensuring we see him - though we turn away.

“Lonely Housewife” skulks, alone, in her group of high end consumers, terrified of what her life is becoming.

And me, observing.

We are community.
